How can I become a video game tester?

How do you become a video game tester in Canada? Is it only in the US? How do I go about contacting them? Any companies in particular? Is there any information you could give me about video game testing? Do you have to be of a certain age? 10 points best answer!

I would agree with the person who answered above me to check with Nintendo in Canada, I’m not sure of other companies who have offices there (but checking online for some of your own favorite game creators may help). It’s not only in the US (although especially in the NW there is quite a few options).
Generally contacting them through their career opportunities links on their websites is the best way to go about it.
From those I know who work for Nintendo in Redmond, few of them have college experience, but many of them like the idea of moving up in their field (to design)
I think (at least in the US) you must be at least 18 to test games (likely because it’s usually a full time job so they want you out of high school).
Hope that helps!
