It’s not because they’re violent, it’s because they’re GOOD GAMES. These “mature” games are basically the cream of the crop when it comes to gaming. Take MGS for instance. It’s basically a masterpiece in gaming, you should check it out.

Because it’s simulating something you cannot do in real life, and that’s the point of videogames.

It allows you to do things that you would never be able to do or dream of doing in real life. It’s fun to break the law, just definitely not in real life. So we have a fake world that makes it fun and easy, with no consequences for feeding our vices. Plus it’s fun to drive the cars and it works well as a shooter and it was crazy missions and the best open worlds in the business. It’s everything fun put in one.

It relieves stress, or so it does for me.
Somehow shooting people with no consequences always sounds like fun.

the us army uses the same type of games to train their troops. also there is no problem with them at all. no player has ever gone on a shooting spree an say something like halo forever.

Because they are fun and are easier to make well so there are alot more good shooters coming out than other types of games. I love all kinds of games, one of my favorites is legend of zelda, but right up there with it is Halo 2 and MGS. There is simply a surge of those type of games coming out which are very well done right now. In five years who knows, Puzzle games may be at the top of the list.

it is really kind of fun and advenchure to play violent games
i like more action & violent games because i like to play games that have a story and also the games are not too short
most of the violent games have a story and it will be too long so i like violint games
